Another road trip

Since maternity leave is coming to an end soon I thought that I had to get in another road trip. Orion and I went to visit "Auntie" Sarah and Baby Samo today. Orion got to try out Baby Samo's crib and his swing, it is all ready for this little one to get here. Auntie Cathy came over too and she even brought her cupcakes, I was very excited about that. Orion did a great job in the car and also showed his smile quite a few times today for Sarah and Cathy.

God Help Us!

It's a dark day on the frozen tundra for our hero has called it quits. Well we all knew this day would come, but I hoped it wouldn't be for another year or two and maybe after another championship. Guess we have to put all our hopes on Aaron Rodgers, it's going to be a loooooong season!

Tough day!

Today I took Orion to his 2 month checkup which was one of the hardest days in my life! We both survived the 5 shots he had to get, although I think it was tougher on me than Orion. The good news is that he weighs 12 lbs 7 oz and is 23 3/4 inches long and that we don't have to see the doctor again until his 4 month checkup. These pictures are from tonight although I couldn't get him to smile for the camera I still think he is quite cute!

Visit with Hadley

Tonight Orion and I went to visit Hadley because it's been way too long since we have seen her. Orion also got to snuggle with Hadley's Auntie Lulu while we were there. I had the pleasure of reading Hadley a couple of books and listening to all of her words that she knows. I was very impressed with her, especially when she told me that the toy she was holding was the color blue!

More Sunday fun

We also went to visit Grandma Barb and Grandpa Pete. We thought we were just stopping in for a short visit but Grandma suggested that Orion should stay with her and Kevin and I should go out to dinner. We had a great time at dinner, it's the first time in a while that both of us could eat at the same time! Grandma and Grandpa got Orion his first piggy bank and when you put money in it makes noise and lights up.

Sunday fun

Today was family fun day! We started by going to Uncle Pete's and Auntie Dawn's house. Dawn feed him lunch and couldn't believe how much he eats now. He even had a chance to snuggle with his cousins Kyle and Trevor. Uncle Pete showed us where Orion gets his cute pout face from!

Mr. Froggie

We have been showing Orion this rattle for a while now and he would just stare at it. Tonight we put it in his hand and he actually hung on to it for quite some time. He even moved his arm and hit himself in the head with the rattle. We were very impressed with him!
