Can't get enough

Orion kind of likes his oatmeal. It was the first time he ever finished an entire bowl of cereal.

Finally the weekend

We spent today shopping and doing all the things that didn't get done this week. Orion tried new oatmeal flavored cereal today and he loved it!

3 months old

Today our little guy turned 3 months old! He is learning new things everyday and amazing his parents. Sometimes I look at him and just can't believe that he is ours. It is hard to remember what life was like before Orion, and it also seems like yesterday we were at the hospital. I was thinking about his birth a lot tonight because my cousin Sarah is about to have her first baby any day now and I am so excited for her to experience what we did having Orion. I am really looking forward to two days home with my boys after having just went through my first week back at work full time. I knew it was going to be hard to be away from him but I had no idea my heart was going to break every morning when I drop him off at daycare. We are hoping to win the lottery so we don't have to work anymore, maybe we should start buying tickets on a regular basis.

Back to work

I have been back to work for 3 days now and it has been quite the emotional roller coaster to say the least. Lots is going on with work and daycare and trying to get everything done in a limited amount of time at night as many of you can relate to. Tonight we finally had to take some new pictures of Orion!!!

Saturday fun

Uncle Pete, Auntie Dawn, Trevor and Kyle came to visit us today. They brought a few Easter presents for Orion, because he isn't spoiled enough! He loves his grizzly bear from Uncle Pete, he is trying his best to eat it!

12 weeks old

We have had a busy week, but finally got around to putting up some pictures today for all of Orion's fans. We have Mitch and Allie spending some time with us on this very snowy day. These are a few for Auntie Geri.

Go Badgers

We had lots of fun today with watching the Badgers win and also a visit from Grandma Barb!

Big boy

Today Orion was dressed in his camouflage, he is ready to go out in the woods with Grandpa Bob! He tried out his new seat for the first time and looks like such a big boy sitting up. He also grabbed the rattle today and held on to it three times in a row. Usually we have to pry his hand open and put the rattle in it and then close his fingers, but today he figured it out for himself. We are so proud!

Finally some sunshine

Today was a beautiful day and I took Orion outside to introduce him to the sunshine. He wore the coat that "Auntie" Jill got him and pretty much decided he needed to eat the fur. I brought him in the house and tried to get a picture because he looked so darn cute and all he did was scream. When Kevin got home from work I had Orion in his stroller and suggested we take our first walk. So we went on the bike path and he seemed to enjoy the fresh air and only cried for a few minutes on the way back. I am looking forward to many more walks in the stroller with our little guy!

Bath Time

We were talking to Auntie Geri this weekend about bath time and she suggested using the calming bath lotion because she said that Chloe loved it when she was little. We tried it for the first time last night and Orion seemed to enjoy the bubbles and went to sleep shortly after his bath. Thank you Auntie Geri!

Weekend fun

We had lots of fun this weekend at Grandpa Bob's, although I was bad with taking pictures. Orion and I went to "Auntie" Sarah's baby shower while Kevin stayed and played with the boys. Orion also had the chance to meet lots of new family and friends this weekend.

Another road trip

Since maternity leave is coming to an end soon I thought that I had to get in another road trip. Orion and I went to visit "Auntie" Sarah and Baby Samo today. Orion got to try out Baby Samo's crib and his swing, it is all ready for this little one to get here. Auntie Cathy came over too and she even brought her cupcakes, I was very excited about that. Orion did a great job in the car and also showed his smile quite a few times today for Sarah and Cathy.

God Help Us!

It's a dark day on the frozen tundra for our hero has called it quits. Well we all knew this day would come, but I hoped it wouldn't be for another year or two and maybe after another championship. Guess we have to put all our hopes on Aaron Rodgers, it's going to be a loooooong season!
