2 months old

We cannot believe that our little man is 2 months old today. He is smiling all the time now, especially when he sees Mommy and Daddy. He gave us the best present and slept from 9:30 last night until 6:30 this morning. He also had a brief moment today when he discovered his right hand and just started at it. We are happy that he is growing and learning new things but we are also sad that it's going so quickly.

Orion has now started to stick out his tongue when Kevin does it first. It is very entertaining!

Feeling better

Orion has been sick for a few days now, today he finally seems to be feeling better. He has been smiling all day long for me!

Road trip

On Tuesday morning Orion and I went and picked up Grandpa Bob and headed to visit the Jensen Family in Minnesota for the week. We had a lot of fun with all activity that happens at the Jensen house. I helped Tommy with his paper route because it was a bit cold outside. Orion had a little help with bath time, Lauren held him while Auntie Mary cleaned him up. We got to cheer on Jerod as he showed off his skills on the basketball court and Orion met Grandma Doris and Big Lou. Grandpa took Orion shopping and picked out treats for all of us. Orion had a blast being pampered by everyone, I am pretty sure that he is the luckiest little boy in the world because he has so many people in his life that love him. The worst part about being away is that Kevin had to stay at home and Orion and I really missed him.

Snuggle time with Grandma

Grandma Barb came out today for some snuggle time with Orion. He was a little fussy before Barb got here but after 10 minutes of snuggling he was down for the count. I included a few other cute shots from today and yesterday as well.

We had a change of outfit already this morning because Orion decided that before Auntie Mary left it would be a good idea to poop through his clothes! Grandpa Bob, the weather man, called to let us know how bad it's supposed to get today and he was happy that Mary is leaving early too. We had a few tears but we are thankful for the time we did get together!

Auntie Mary's short visit

Auntie Mary braved the roads yesterday and now she has to go home today because of a huge storm hitting Minnesota tonight. We are sad that her visit was cut short but we did manage to get a few pictures of Orion. The first picture of me was taken a few days ago but Mary said that I had to put it on here too.

More new friends

The Baker family came to meet Orion today. The Schwenzen family came over too and we had a fun time although a little crazy with so many people in our small house. The Baker's brought Orion his first picture of Orion's belt and also his first belt, only Baker would think of that. We didn't get to take all the pictures that we wanted to but here are a few from today. Baker was teaching Orion to say "Go Duke"!

6 weeks old

Snow days

We have had so much snow in the past 24 hours that we have spent all our time trying to dig ourselves out. We also managed to play some Guitar Hero, Orion isn't as good at it as we are though. Tonight Kristina and her daughter Kaytlyn came over to visit and Orion smiled more than we have ever seen him at once. We think he has a crush on Kristina!

Lisa and Dylan

Lisa and Dylan stopped over to visit today. It was so cool to see the boys next to each other and see how big Dylan is! These boys are going to be running around with each other before we know it.
