Grandparents everywhere

Today Grandma Barb, Grandpa Pete and Great Grandma Donna came to visit Orion. He was just about ready for a nap when they got here but he held out and even flashed his smile a few times. It was a nice visit and once they left it took Orion exactly 2 minutes to fall asleep.

I realized this afternoon that we needed to get some new pictures of Orion up today. So I put him in the chair and began taking pictures while I was on the phone with Auntie Mary. He only smiled for one of them of course. When he is sitting now he likes to pull himself up even more and he ended up tipping over in the very last picture.

Orion is 20 weeks old today. I told Kevin this morning I keep thinking we are half way to 1 year with him being 20 weeks because we were half way done with the pregnancy when we hit the 20 week mark. We walked to the park for the first time today and took Orion on the swings, down the slide and on the see-saw. It was so much fun to watch him on the swing all by himself although it doesn't seem right that he can swing by himself already. Where did our little baby go?

Mommy digs me

It's not so easy to get Orion to sit for a picture now. If he is laying too far back for his liking then he will try to sit himself up. Today he did that and ended up pretty much folded over in half and eating his toes. He is wearing a new outfit that we just had to buy for him that says "Mommy digs me".
