Family, family and more family

Orion survived his first road trip this weekend to meet some more of Mommy's family. He slept in the car all the way there and back and even slept good at night at Grandpa's house. He was passed around from one person to the next on Saturday, it was cute to see my nephews and niece want to be the first to hold him. Auntie Mary was very nice and let everyone have a turn even though she would like to keep him all to herself. Uncle Mark could only get a little time with Orion because he had to work, but Orion made the best of it by pooping through his outfit when Uncle Mark was holding him. We even had a chance to take a family picture which we haven't done since our wedding day. Grandpa even played Guitar Hero III for the first time! It was a great weekend and we are all looking forward to doing it again really soon. The best part for us was that once we got there we didn't have to change 1 single diaper thanks to Auntie Mary and Lauren.

2 weeks old!

We cannot believe that Orion is already 2 weeks old! We had a busy day today with running errands and Orion's 2 week checkup. He weighs 8 lbs and 1.5 oz now and is 21 3/4 inches long and the doctor gave him a glowing report. We also had his first bath in his tub tonight, as you can see in the pictures he loved it! The Korrison Family came over to meet Orion tonight too. Lots of activity packed into 1 day, Mommy and Daddy are tired.

Quiet life at home

We have been enjoying our time with Orion everyday. He is growing and changing and keeping us on our toes. He even lets us sleep for 4 or 5 hours at night already. It seems like he has always been here.

Visitors from Appleton

We had visitors today who came all the way from Appleton just to meet our little man. Orion first got to meet the Huebner Family and then he got to meet his Auntie Cathy and see his "Auntie" Sarah again. He was pretty tired after his big day of meeting more of Mommy's family!

One Week Old!

Well we all survived our first week together and Orion's first doctors appointment. Everyone here is doing great and we are all falling more in love with each other every day. We have had a lot of help in the last week and would like to thank everyone for helping us get through, Thank you!!

Happy birthday Grandma

Great Grandma Donna, Grandma Barb and Grandpa Pete came over to meet Orion for the first time today. In all the excitement we forgot to wish Grandma Barb Happy Birthday!
