It's hard to get Orion to look at the camera sometimes

This is my Matt Hughes doll that I got from Pete and Dawn for Christmas. I finally let Orion play with him today and he kept grabbing the doll and saying "Daddy"!

Kevin celebrated his golden birthday today and we were lucky enough to spend the entire day with him. We started the day with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa and Orion showed off a little for them. We went shopping and found a weight bench for Kevin's present. I would not have guessed 1 year ago that he would be getting this as a present but life certainly has changed. We spent most of the night laughing at Orion's giggle and we both agree that it is the best sound in the world. Now Orion is sleeping and Kevin is making bbq ribs on the grill for dinner. How lucky am I to have such a wonderful husband that cooks.....even his own birthday dinner!

Taking a bath

Orion really likes to splash in the bath, we have to pretty much wipe up the floor every time. Grandma Dotti always said that you shouldn't freak out when kids get water everywhere because it doesn't hurt anything...she was so right. After the bath the three of us were playing in the living room and Orion was making both of us laugh and I looked at Orion and said "could you be any cuter" and he looked at me and shook his head no. Of course this made us laugh even more.

We found this cute Tigger towel today and of course Orion had to have it. We can't wait for summer to try it out at the pool! We think he is the cutest Tigger ever.

This video is from tonight, we were playing in Orion's room and after changing Orion's sheets he was playing on the mattress and having the time of his life getting pushed around. His giggle is the best sound in the world.

Orion wanted to wear his hat

We are just trying to keep busy with having to stay inside because of the cold weather. Orion and I played in his room this afternoon and had lots of fun. When he grabbed his hat and handed it to me he started to say "bye bye"....maybe he is ready to finally get out of this house!

Reading with Mommy

Orion seems to be trying to repeat most of what we say now. Tonight I was reading one of his books to him and he was repeating most of the words, he didn't do it as much once Kevin got the camera out but we still are putting it up here because we know there are a few people out there that are missing him.
