PB & J

Daddy gave Orion a PB & J sandwich today for lunch and as you can tell, he got it ALL over. He somehow manged to get peanut butter on the backside of his pants. I know that the last picture is slightly gross with seeing his chewed up food but he did this at the end of me taking pictures. He probably wondered why lunch was a photo shoot and figured he would show me.

Play time

For the past few days now Orion has been taking steps by himself without holding on to something. The first time was for Daddy and it was about 6 steps until he fell down. I have been meaning to get it on tape but of course never know for sure when he is going to do it. Today I grabbed the camera because he was talking a lot and having fun playing with his pegs. He kept having me put the pegs in so he could then take them out. He surprised me and actually walked while the camera was on. It is not going to be long until he is running everywhere!

Another milestone

Orion had a doctor's appointment today to check fluid in his ears and the report we got was that they are perfect. He also impressed the doctor when he heard a baby crying in a different room and pointed to the door and said "baby". He is so smart! Since we had such wonderful news that his ears were good we decided that he should get a treat and what could be better then his first Happy Meal??? He ate almost the entire hamburger and half of the fries before deciding to throw the food over the side of his tray, it's a neat little trick he picked up from Auntie Mary called "feeding the puppy" except we don't have puppy at our house like Auntie Mary does!

We were having so much fun and then Orion realized it was bedtime and started to cry.......
Today Orion decided that he would also like to drink from my water bottle, he was sad when the water was all gone but did a pretty good job at taking little sips. He is getting to be a big boy.

Two more teeth

We finally were able to get a picture of Orion's top two teeth that came through last week. We only had to turn him upside down for a few seconds, don't worry!


Lately when I get ready for work Orion has to be right by my side. So I end up giving him either my brush or some makeup to hold while I get ready. I have also be giving him my headband, and we walked out to show Daddy! He kind of looks like a mini Richard Simmons, if only we had a spandex outfit for him!

Last Tuesday Orion and I picked up Grandpa Bob and went to visit Auntie Mary for a few days. We had a great time, didn't take as many pictures as I normally do though. We had a chance to watch Jerod play basketball which Orion thought was pretty cool and kept saying JJ and ball. We also did quite a bit of bowling on the Wii, Grandpa made it to the pro level before we left.
